Right now I’m in the studio, exploring the flora and landscape of Australia.  This body of works are evolving to tell my stories of the bush, the immersion of colour and the vastness of the wilderness.

My approach is to find the point of collision between realism and abstraction.  For me botanical drawing is a thrilling observation in exquisite detail.  Each tiny part containing an infinite amount of information. I want to translate the abstraction of colour, land, light, movement, vastness I see and feel in the bush onto the paper and into the finished works.
